Reasonably decent place to buy and repair musical instruments.. WHY PRICE WILL BE HIGH Price is bound to be high for non locals (who don't know to bargain) and for common people who are not regular musicians who don't know how to buy and the market prices. also there aren't many music shops in this locality and prices will be higher than some place which is a musical hub. Parking: with covid19, shops and streets are less crowded but otherwise, you'd have to drive a little further to park, as is a shopping hub on either side of the road. It's not impossible. Friendliness of staff: is all about the relationship you make with the staff. They're musicians themselves, so i believe they'd respect other musicians!

My Personal Experience was back in August I bought Oud for 1900 AED that was supposed to be made by Ibrahim Sokkar. There was a technical issue in certain position at the fingerboard that caused a buzz across all strings.I went back and forth for two times from Dubai to Sharjah to fix it with no use. I agreed with the owner to give it sometime and the voice may adjust as wood change by usage, during that time I reached out to Ibrahim Sukkar in October to discuss the issue with him and the surprise came that the oud is not made by him. I contacted Dandanah and as matter of fact they were not aware of the deception took place as they are just distributors and this was confirmed by Ibrahim Sukkar as well and promised me to replace the oud once stock is available. in November the stock got available and I met the owner and proposed me Zeryab Oud Model 1 with price difference that I should pay in case of replacement 550 AED I accepted the replacement to discover recently that this training model price range in Dubai is 1200 - 1500 AED. Long story short my judgement over priced oud and you need to verify the source of manufacturer As another fact During this journey the owner was very cooperative and supportive in communicating with Ibrahim Sukkar to verify the source of the issue they are just distributors not manufacturers.

Had given my guitar for repair. They broke my new daddario string and replaced with some rusty old string which broke almost instantly. When I went back the dude working there used some derogatory words and literally pushed me (with his hands) out of his shop. P.s (reply to shop owner). I never layed a finger or bad mouthed on your salesman. He was literally pushing me. Stop lying and making strange stories up. Or maybe you're confusing me with someone else. Wouldn't be surprised if this was a regular thing for you. How you deal with customers is just ridiculous. Also If you believe you're speaking the truth you should have no problem posting the video of what happened here.

The price of most of the items is higher than they should. I was sold the display guitar for the same price as the new one. The staff was nice and welcoming. Hard to find a parking spot.
