I want to rate this place as 4 star (above average but not mind-blowing) but...they deserve the fifth star. Here's why. Music stores are abundant in Dubai. Music stores that are run with enough care to personally address every customer in a professional and respectful manner are not. The fact that the management "get it" enough to read each review, listen AND reply to their customers says everything. As a side note, the eloquence and class displayed by the authors of several one star reviews, is also quite telling. The store itself is, unfortunately, not in a busy, mainstream location. It will probably require a special trip to visit, but fear not. Parking is free for 2 hours. Also, an abundance of coffee shops in The Mall is a bonus if you are bringing someone for a music lesson. The store is probably one of the most diverse and well-stocked music stores in the city. I don't need to point out the years I've spent here or being a musician to convince you. Just scroll through the great photos they have posted. Primarily dealing Ritmüller pianos and a nice range of acoustic guitars, they also have a variety of professional and student grade instruments of other kinds available for children and adults at all levels. Definitely worth a visit, and I'm sure you'll be treated with the respect and dignity you deserve. At least, that was my experience.

Very accessible place. Located in The Mall. Most musical instruments and accessories are available. Some famous brands are missing. Nice to wander and check out all the instruments.

I bought a high end Turkish Yildirim Oud from this shop. The owner convinced me of the quality of this Oud. I took his word for it and paid roughly 9000 Dhs for it. I am not an expert Oud player, however I was bothered with the sounds the string generate when they oscillate and create an unpleasant vibration noise. I took it back for service few weeks later and at the store, they replaced the strings and charged me for it.... No warrantee... Surprise surprise. Any how I would have been happy if this corrected the problem... But unfortunately that did not solve it and the Oud kept generating the annoying sounds. Few years back I bought an Oud from an Oud shop in Abu Hail for which I paid 4,000 Dhs. I had hoped that this new Yildrim Oud which is more than twice the price of the older Oud is going to give me the Oud sounds I was looking for... Unfortunately it did not and it was a waste of money. I am truly disappointed with this purchase and the support I received after. I liked the owner of the store, he was very personable... However I am disappointed with his recommendation and his service staff follow up.

Very hospitable staff and would provide you presales service to help you understand your options. I tested a Fender jaguar and an American made Stratocaster and it was incredibly set-up already off-the-rack. The guitar tech knows his craft. I bought some guitar effects and I am happy with my experience. 5 stars for this shop. Avoid Techniline in Deira!

I have been a fully professional musician for almost 50 years , have frequented music shops worldwide . The Music Chamber is one of the very best i have done business with for over 15 years in Dubai . Its the only music store I use . Fair deals , pleasant helpful staff and a great range of instruments & accessories. I have bought at least ten instruments over the years plus various pedals etc . Servicing has always been done to perfection at a reasonable cost . The musical tuition side looks very good with some of the top musicians in Dubai I know (I've been here 26 years !) Parking (underground)is easy and free for two hours.
