This is my second time in this Saravana Bhavan only because of the delicious south Indian food they serve. I have always been a fan of Saravana Bhavan food, as they serve pure veg cuisines with authentic taste. And this one in Sharjah is a lifesaver. As soon as you step in, you will feel like you are in India, with the chaotic ambiance and the ghee roast smell. I have ordered Sambar Idli(5/5), Ghee Roat(5/5), Rasa Vada(5/5), and wheat halwa(5/5). I have been looking for some authentic halwa recently and so glad to eat this from here. It was super duper delicious. I hope they serve the halwa all-year-round!

Very bad experience for me. Probably I did not order the right dishes. The service was average. The waiter does not understand proper English or Hindi which added to the confusion. The Al Nahda branch is at a congested location. It's not easy to find parking here. The silver lining was the karak tea which saved the day for me.

I had bad experience from this restaurant. Ordered my breakfast but not delivered till lunch time even though couple of calls. But no response. But they marked it as delivered after few hours... Its very bad taking everything granted and makes me starving and waiting for entire morning. Hope they will improve service.
Worst experience. Had breakfast with couple of my friends. And then we found a fly inside the Vada & idli chutney set. Spoiled the complete mood of the day. The cashier was least bothered,he just crushes it and threw away with a 'Sorry' which he never meant. Then he billed for the food including this affected item. Saravana Bhavans across India and UAE are known for its quality and service. That is the reason Customers paying double the normal rates for food. These type of incidents would only help to spoil the good will of the entire team.
The place is close to Sahara center mall. The food is delicious. I have tried breakfast several times and quality never disappointed. And I am a big fan of their coffee, dosa, vada and upma. Only downside is this restaurant is expensive(for me?). For a breakfast you need to shell out 20 dirhams approximately. There is ample car parking space in front of it and ambience is very good for bachelors and families alike.
