Most horrible experience with these unprofessional and uneducated brokers working under this agency. Saw an ad in Bayut listing one of their properties in Muweilah and decided to call first to which we were asked to go and view the house. Upon arrival, we were met by two goons that spoke in their native language and referred to us as "black people" without even addressing us directly after which we were interrogated in the most arrogant way on the requirements which included cheque and some down payment what we were ready with. My partner was able to pick a few words that they spoke to each other, we realized that they said they didn't rent out houses to people of African descent after the one questioning us repeatedly checked us from head to toe (probably trying to see how much respect we deserved). My only issue is this, if you for some reason do not prefer to rent out your property to certain nationalities, then state so on your ads and avoid wasting our time. The illiterate people serving us didn't have to go through the trouble in the first place if you had clearly stated we were not worth living in your building that is quite average we didn't even understand what was so special about this mistreatment. Taking up the issue with the Municipality, need to understand where we should rent houses and where to steer clear from. Discrimination so senseless it was almost comical.
