Having extensive expertise within the travel & tourism sector, we have a team with a passion for adventure activities. We established our unique camp, The Retreat, to serve our guests in peaceful comfort while supporting environmental initiatives. Starting with our low impact design, our use of recycled materials and our Eco-friendly products, all aimed at supporting the protection of nature as well as the culture & heritage of the UAE with the full support of Fujairah Adventure Center. We aim at encouraging and developing adventures including exploration and camping activities in the Northern & Eastern regions of the United Arab Emirates. We focus on active lifestyle & well-being, whilst doing so we keep in mind the preservation of the stunning natural resources available in the region The camp is built using natural, locally available resources without having any negative impact over the environment or interference with the nature surrounding it. The perimeter wall of the camp is a man-made marvel; the natural stones were individually placed over a period of more than a year. The carpentry works were produced by skilled craftsmen within the camp itself, all designs are exclusive to the camp. Every small detail was considered. The bed sheets are made with an anti-bacterial, high-tech fabric imported from Germany. The fabrics are compatible with the local weather conditions, tested and approved to the highest international standards. The landscaping is significant, using indigenous plants to beautify and add a green touch to the camp. For the first time in the UAE, we experimented with planting Kiri trees; the fastest growing tree in the world, that will aid the governments environment protection plans. Our Philosophy is simple A fit mind & Body is something we frequently overlook .. We believe it all starts & ends in the mind & Body.
