It's a great experience to try to perfect quality Japanese food. Also they have the chinese specials available. The staff is courteous.
Loved my experience here!! They also have Shanghai station (chinese specialty) & Poke and Ceviche ( a dark kitchen concept) under the same parent restaurant. You’ve GOTTA try the amaaaazing volcanic maki rolls, yellow tail fish ceviche and the dynamite shrimp poke bwol The servers are extremely nice and the ambiance is pretty chill too! Make sure to get your parking ticket verified, because free parking only lasts for an hour.️ Will definitely go back
Sushi are not bad, but not the best. Not much fish inside. Spicy tuna wasn’t really spicy...
Their Uramaki and Signature platters lived up to our expectations. Fresh, solid, zesty rolls and nigiris. Rice cooked up to perfection. Highly recommended.
There is a good selection of options on the menu. Unfortunately this is overshadowed by the decreasing quality of food experienced over the last 3 months. Over a 2 year period I've frequented Yugo on a near weekly basis. The quality of food, especially on set options like bento boxes and teishoku, has decreased radically in 2 months. Reduced portion sizes, changing types of soup accompanying, it has deteriorated. Will not go again
This is really an amazing Japanese joint with much more than just sushi. Of course the sushi is amazing but the dynamite shrimp, Avocado salmon salad and the bubble smoothies are to die for. They have a huge selection in the menu including sashimi, gunkan, and even fried rice and black pepper sauce based curry. A new sushi we tried this time was the danjon which is made of soft shell crab and really deserves to be complimented as it beat our earlier favorite the Volcanic Sushi. Last but not the least dont forget the mochi for a wonderful sweet ending. Service by Hazel was excellent, ambience is great and pricing is fair as well. Love this place.
