Probably those who go to 1004 to buy Asian foods must have seen the products or the logo of this very cozy and nice soy bean based pastry and drink shop. Here in the international city, you can enjoy a series of soy bean based desserts, pastries and drinks. Honestly, everything was amazing including its interiors!

But this place was awesome, made us feel like we were back in Taiwan, one of our favorite places in the world. The soy milk was spot on, and the desserts were delicious, definitely going back.
This place will hit the spot if you're looking for Taiwanese tofu dessert here in Dubai. I would suggest asking for boba as a topping. I'll be back! Perhaps what's needed is some Chinese cane sugar to really up the experience!
On our first visit here, I hadn't realized that I had already purchased their 90s Taiwan Milk Tea Bottle from Mart 1004 which I genuinely liked (which by the way, they make fresh from this physical store of theirs). We tried their Daily Soft Served Ice Cream of the Day which was the Black Sesame Ice Cream which wasn't overbearingly sweet, yet tasted rich in soy (a good thing). Since I saw that they had Shaved Ice which came with 5 toppings of my choice (got the purple yam, barley, custard, black jelly, and black bean), I tried it. Of course being Filipino, I couldn't help but compare it to the Filipino Halo-halo (which still wins it for me). My bad that I didn't ask for soy milk (to sweeten the treat) plus I didn't mix it all together to make the magic happen (note to self next time). Overall, a sweet treat cafe that will satisfy your sweet tooth and won't cause you diabetes by being too sweet.

If you like soy based products this is your spot. They don't have regular milk in any of their drinks, so keep that in mind if you don't like the flavor of soy milk. The classic old school Taiwanese milk tea is super delicious - highly recommended. The bottles their drinks come in are really nice, so we have a few in our home now that we reuse for other drinks. Prices are really affordable as well, so you really have nothing to lose when checking out this gem.
Soya pudding is something uniquely a East Asian Dessert. Personally, I do enjoy their soya pudding with taro and red beans. Delicious. And of course their soft serve ice cream is amazing too.
