Worst experience ever! Had 2 numbers with Virgin Mobile, after 5 months decided to port one of them BACK to Etisalat due to coverage/reception issues with Virgin network... The other number has been automatically deactivated without any notice... Oh and btw it has been paid for until April 2021in advance. 1200AED gone. Customer service also a nightmare to interact with. Chat app responses after 3hrs, tickets closed without notification and any information until calling them on 800 165. Contradictory responses from customer service as first advisor contacted presented possibility of a refund of remaining balance and assure somebody will reach out within 24hrs... When contacting customer service again due to their lack of response in 2 days the only solution offered by another advisor is for me to create another account and try to get the deactivated number back. I'd have to pay again as a new customer... They don't want to let me use the balance paid for in advance as the number has been automatically deactivated upon porting another number... Apparently it's just a regular practice that defies any sense and logic. Note that when they try to sell you a 2nd number they won't highlight any dependencies between the numbers. They're just happy to take your money and terminate the service without any notice. Sounds ridiculous, but that's the experience with Virgin Mobile. Beware.

I decided to use Virgin due to the poor customer support at Etisalat (3 years with them) and Du (4 years with them). I regretted the decision IMMEDIATELY. Believe it or not, the customer service is even WORSE at Virgin! They offer only one means to contact them (via the \chat\ in their mobile app) and it doesn't work. I have been waiting days for a response to my simple query. Nobody even said \Hi\ let alone fixed it. I'm absolutely amazed.

I switched to virgin thinking their customer service and ease of use is superior to Du. In the beginning it was, now it's worse than Du, far worse. Live chat takes days to reply. All their replies are copy paste to refer you to useless robotic customer service, these people have no clue how customer service works.

Totally pathetic. Will not even let me cancel my account. I don't want my money back I just do not want to ever have to deal with them again. Willful lethargic behavior that will not even allow me to walk away. Website practices that are misleading. JUST TERRIBLE

There is no way to contact costumer service. You will only be able to talk to them trough a chat were someone does copy paste answers like a robot. I’ve been trying to go from Du to virgin during three months and it has been extremely frustrating.

OMG!! I have had such a frustrating experience with the service. Firstly I tried to purchase a number through the app but did not continue with the purchase. But now I am informed that some number I did not intend to purchase is made as my primary number. And the number I actually purchased cannot be added to my account unless I purchase the original number. Does not make sense at all! And the customer service agent just disconnected my call since they couldn't solve the issue. I had just purchased the new number, and the agent who sold the number said I can change the email address later, in hurry to complete the transaction. Is this the kind of service now I have to put up with for 1 year???

If anyone planning to choose Virgin, please don't fall into the trap of offers because once you got the SIM they will not respond to you. Customer service doesn't exist. DU and Etisalat are much better.
