This is by far, one of the very best Japanese restaurants in Dubai. Presentation, service, quality and ambiance are all near perfect. If you're looking for the very best, you will have found it... Albeit at a price (but so very worth it)

Big balcone with open view, can see the downtown in whole. The food is nice and sashimi is fresh enough. By the way, they have happy hour till 8pm, 50% on the beer and sake. All in all, a nice place for gathering.

By far the best Japanese restaurant I have ever tried in Dubai. Nice view and excellent food. The taste and the way to serve is that of genuine and authentic Japanese way. Can't complain. Also, Friday brunch here is just exquisite. Unlimited Sushi and other Japanese food with very sensible price!
One of the very few authentic Japanese restaurants in Dubai. The style of serving, the decor and ambience and the sushi is authentic and quite excellent. If you are more to the trendy fusion Japanese food then you may not like this.

I visited Tomo recently and was a little underwhelmed. Many people have told me to visit this place, but it was a little disappointing. The food was okay, nothing special, the service was a little bit slow and the atmosphere pretty much non-existent. I have heard it used to be a lot better in the previous years, which is a shame.
Ambience : The place has a Japanese inspired interior and a beautiful view of the skyline. The entrance is decorated with few Japanese ornaments and a small Japanese famous cherry tree. ️️️️️️️ Food & Drinks: Cocktails were very refreshing and tasty. The sushi was simply amazing. The presentation of the plate was superb. It was very fresh and very delicious. The main dish, was good too. It wasn’t as good as the sushi but still tasty. The main dish came with a bowl of rice and a bowl of soup, the soup tasted very good. ️️️️️️️ Service: Staff were super friendly, very attentive and helpful ️️️️️️️ Overall: You should definitely try it. If you go there for lunch and it is in the summer, stay away from the tables that are close to the window, the heat is a killer.
