The Mumbai Social Restaurant is a pretty nice and cozy place in Karama. They have a great ambience and the restaurant is very cool and trendy. Moreover they have great food options with reasonable prices. Customer service was also really nice. A must visit place for casual hangouts and great food.

Mumbai Social- A feel of Mumbai in Dubai A new themed restaurant in Dubai where you can enjoy the authentic street food of India with the true fee of mumbai all around you. So, we got to dine in at this amazingly beautiful restaurant few days back. If you are a Bollywood fan, you’ll surely fall in love with this place the moment you’ll enter. All the walls are decorated in such artistic way with the Bollywood inspired murals. The restaurant in divided in two parts.... one for fine fine experience where as the other one give a more rustic look with creatively done furniture & a live chaat corner(which is closed as of now). Though they are lacking in the service, reason being less number of servers, but still they tried their best to bring our order on time. Coming back to food.... we started with Paani puri ... love the way they presented this ... in a cute cart ... love this. We also tried their Chicken momos.... served with a tangy & spicy sauce (exactly the way we love it) They served us some really refreshing drinks.... Mango lassi, masala chaas, Dry fruit mastani & Dry fruit thandai .... all four were amazing Then comes the most famous street food of Mumbai ..... Chicken keema paav & also the Mutton keema bun maska..... both were perfectly done & were as we expected... scrumptious. From the main course we had the Kohlapuri mutton accomplished with paratha.... don’t know but something was missing in this, anyways it was just ok for us. Paratha were really good ... made with whole wheat. The Chicken keema matka Biryani.... as the name says, it was served in a mud matka which makes the biryani really presentable. Taste wise ... it was really good... with perfect blend of spices. Ending the meal with delicious Gajar ka halwa followed with amazing masala chai ... To sum it all ... an amazing place... we will surely recommend it to everyone.

Had a horrible experience here…even though it was deserted I decided to give it a try one summer afternoon…For one, their AC was not working properly and it was really uncomfortable coming from the scorching heat.. The items on their menu were of a decent variety and prices were okay too.. the presentation was also good…but to my disappointment it was not hygienic and sadly I got a strand of hair in my food…not sure if this is a one-off experience or a common one…would not recommend….

Restaurant of the week! @themumbaisocial_karama .. If you are craving for street style food in Dubai then you have got to visit @themumbaisocial_karama .. You cannot get over with the amazing work they have done with the interiors. This bollywood and retro themed restaurant is really pleasing to anyone's eyes especially to those who have been close to bollywood of 80s and 90s. These guys have really put in lot of efforts to make this restaurant iconic. .. Their menu quite reasonably priced. We have some of their best sellers and we can definitely vouch that they are doing a great job! Here's what we had: 1. Amul Butter Pav Bhaji 2. Peri Peri Loaded Fries 3. Cheese Vada pav 4. Dahi Puri 5. Masala Thumbs and Ginger chai All of this we just had it for AED 100/- .. We highly recommend their peri peri fries and dahi puri. You must visit this restaurant if you haven't yet and let us know what did you liked the most.

It was our first time to the restaurant, We (6 people) had entered at 10:00 PM and placed our order for food and drinks within the next 10 min.The waiter informed us that the food will take 20 min . We weren't served our drinks/ food for the next 40 minutes and after the food came we asked if we wanted to re-order a pizza how much time will it take for which they said very quick "Not too long". We had to wait for 50 minutes to get the last order despite being the last customers in the restaurant. after 30 min of wait we had informed the waiter that we would like to cancel the order and repeatedly called for the bill. He brings the pizza and gives us the bill for which we refused to pay and asked them to call the bosses as we saw them going to the kitchen for which the waiter lied saying they left from the backdoor. We said we aren't paying unless you call the boss/manager. The Female owner comes out and starts yelling at us saying that since you have ordered and now its on your table you will have to pay. If you would have told it earlier to cancel we would have. We mentioned that we did tell the waiter to cancel the order and then she said okay then you take money from him and pay us. We were shocked with the way she treated her customers. We paid for the pizza and left it there. I would not visit the place neither suggest anyone to go there. Dubai has many great places to dine. I am sure the staff there would treat you much better and youlll have a better experience.
