For the moment the best, most creative cuisine in Dubai. Add an enthusiastic sommelier, from Mauritius perfect french accent, the illusion is as perfect as David Copperfield: you never know what hit you. Done with the meal (I opted for the degustation with corresponding wine) I feel as contempt and happy as a European possibly can with his continent in the hands of Communists such as Macron and Merkel. Dubai rock. Come over here Man 2️

Went there to share a dinner in a three star Michelin but most probably did not understand who got the stars. We ordered a starter and a main dish, starter was good and tasty. We thereafter took the beef Wagyu that was also tasty with a nice sauce but served as seen on the picture together with a green frozen salad. My 5 year old nephew would have done better on our annual family barbecue. Chef Alleno you should spend more time in Dubai briefing your staff, your stars are burning on a barbecue table over here. We tried to explain the staff around including the hotel management but everything looks normal to everyone. No comment, pictures talks. Here are the negative effects of globalization, Chef Alleno stay in France.

STAY by Yannick Alleno is situated in a fancy hotel on the palm in Dubai. Although the dishes were straightforward when it came to ingredients, the presentation was dainty and appetizing. This time the dinner was a la carte as opposed to a set menu but I loved that we still got the element of surprise with amuse-bouches popping up in between the food we ordered. Our choices were on the fishy side and all was delicious, including the beautifully crafted crab salad. When it was time for the dessert, it was a unique experience. The pastry chef was actually with us in the dining room and we could walk over to take a look at his sweets. We chose our desserts and returned to our seats; the chocolate souffle was freshly prepared on the spot. He also sent us little delicacies to savor and satisfy our sweet tooth. Another enjoyable experience to further enhance this dinner was when we were invited to see the chef and kitchen. We were even given a quince juice drink that he had been preparing through a complex process which he described to us. We really left the restaurant with elevated moods and although it might sound cheesy, the name STAY says it all.

We went to this restaurant for our anniversary. We are foodies. If you expect that cost correlates to quality, you'll be disappointed. The chef may be a Michelin star worthy but clearly he hasn't paid attention for a while. The lamb was undercooked, the deserts still had granulated sugar on them and the wine selection was just popular in their own countries but poor quality for the price. And it's a long uber to get there: don't bother. We had fun because we are fun.

The food was fantastic, the service excellent, the environment superb. I have nothing more to mention besides the desert. Serving the desert was a very interesting procedure, but the deserts themselves were not the food level. Fine dish was the lobster with rose essence. Choice of menu is great. Wine bible as well. It takes some time to get to the One & Only hotel but it is a trip to go for. The prices are accordingly.
