We celebrated our 6th anniversary at Social which was recommended by a friend. Living in Dubai for 10 years and dinning out quite often, it is difficult to impress me anymore so I didn't have much expectations from Social. Well, I was wrong, the food was WOW, a masterpiece. Truly exceptional, the favors, the textures, the presentation. I was very impressed and enjoyed each dish, especially the starters with small bites for tasting. Also, a must try is their Tiramisu. OMG, I cant forget that taste and flavors. Definitely recommend this restaurant. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. I didn't really like the atmosphere and deign of the restaurant. I mean they could have done it better and more cozier. The chairs were not very comfortable. I had to ask for cushions. But that was ok when you have such tasty and exceptional food served. This is what I call 'art in cooking'. Well done!

Was disappointed with the quality of service and food... Having been here 3 years ago everything was top notch... Last nights experience was disappointing and we came to find out at the end that they are not affiliated with chef Heinz Beck hence... Food was average, we opted for the 5 course, service was OK and dinning went from fine dinning to casual..

Dubai is home to amazing dining experiences which my family and I have been fortunate enough to explore. However, unfortunately Social by Heinz Beck was a total disaster in terms of service. Our appetizers to share were served at our table before our individual plates were (not like a few seconds, we had to wait around 3 whole minutes staring at our food in front of us). While the appetizers were good (The beef carpaccio is excellent), our wine was served to our table AFTER our food was served which was a first for all of us. No one asked if we'd like another water after our bottle was finished and we had to ask for them to refill our wine glasses. After this experience, we decided to move inside (we were seated outside) hoping for better service, however it was difficult to get servers' attention. The Australian Lamb Chop was excellent, however the paccheri pasta of the Seafood Paccheri lacked seasoning although the sauce was fine. The Fettucine with Black Truffles was also fine. When we told the server of our experience he was apologetic however did not fail to mention that Social had become a \casual dining\ destination instead of a fine dining establishment due to the global pandemic. Look, that's all fine, but when the name of a 3 starred michelin chef is attached to the name of a restaurant and customers are paying premium prices, you expect a certain caliber of service. My family and I were deeply disappointed as most of the reviews speak highly of this place and we had just went to Le Petite Maison the night before and had an amazing night expecting the same at Social. Our work allows us to travel and try the best restaurants all over the world which include Restaurant Guy Savoy in Paris, Gaggan in Bangkok, Enrico Bartolini al Mudec in Milan and Amber in Hong kong. I hope management reads this review and makes the appropriate changes needed. I am open to giving Social another try in the distant future.

The food was very well presented and if you enjoy culinary journeys that reinvent or recreate dishes or deconstruct then even, then this is the place for you. As a side note.. The olive oil and breads served are outstanding. Regrettably also needed if you're hungry as this is not a hearty portion orientated restaurant. The ambiance was outstanding too, its a very comfortable and luxurious dining experience and you can even walk into the kitchen and have a tour, something I will definately have to do on a future visit. The service was exemplary and our waitress was passionate in her run down of the menu options. All in all, a great restaurant to visit for a treat or to impress.
