Delicious food! It would be 5 star if the beef was more tender, but don't let that put you off. The salmon was perfect, as was the sticky rice. Good food full of flavour.

A friend suggested this place to have dinner at and it was almost closing time when we got there. Fortunately they still accommodated us and we were their last customers for the day. Shame that it was Thursday night and they close early at 10PM. I liked the ambience and how the place is set up. We ordered gyoza, grilled salmon, and bento. Everything was fine except for the salmon. I think it was the smallest salmon serving I’ve ever had in Dubai. It tasted great, don’t get me wrong, but the serving size was not enough for an adult like me. Anyway, my disappointment with the salmon was compensated for when I saw the straws they use at Shokuji. Paper straws! I love that they’re contributing to the environment by not using plastic ones. Will come back next time and hopefully by then their salmon serving size has improved.
All of the dish we ordered was delicious. I love the Spicy beef ramen, I have to ask extra chili flakes and oil to fit my spicy level :) the takoyaki is the best. The beef teriyaki marinated properly and taste awesome! Bento is worth for the money, awesome grilled salmon and beautiful salad dressing. Not a fan of the California roll. Feels like something was missing. Oh yes Miso soup taste umami. And best things the rice is still authentic Japanese rice, not like other Japanese restaurants where they started to change to other type of rice. The supervisor Lady on duty (March 19, 2021) was so helpful and have good recommendations for what to have from the menu.
We are very satisfied with all their sushi's. The presentation is good and the taste is even better. The price is just right, and you can see and feel the difference of their food- the ingredients are fresh. I wish that more customers will know how good this restaurant is and I hope they have other branches soon.. because Jumeirah is quite far.. maybe new branches in nearby malls! :)
Cute little place with amazing food, one of the best sushi places I came across in Dubai. Huge variery of food, all we ordered was delicious, but I will definitely be back for the eel roll. It was a short walk from the City Walk, but Vita mall where it is situated is quite with plenty of parking. There is nice outdoor terrace. Staff was amazing, well done you guys!
Wanted to try something different . Shokuji Sushi didn't disappointed us. Must tries include Bento Box, Beef Angus Teriyaki, Donburi, Chicken Yakisoba. Beef Ramen was a not what we expected .Over all we were very much happy with service and ambience. Must try place for food lovers.
The place is cozy and the food is very authentic. A true japanese cuisine experience that is highly recommended. Thumbs up!!!
