The highlights of the place was the grilled calamari, the sauce it comes with was amazing. The fried calamari was also very good. The prawns were a bit over cooked but I still liked them. However, the nicest thing about the restaurant was the view of the fountains. We were lucky to catch a few of the “acts” in the prime seating that the restaurant provides. We really enjoyed ourselves overall. I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way for the food at the restaurant but more for the overall experience if you can grab a spot next to the fountains. I liked the fact that you can choose your own fish and shellfish inside the restaurant. Next time I’ll get some of the fish since we ended up doing only calamari and prawns. It’s a good place to come as a tourist or if you have tourists visiting you. If the food was a bit better, I’d give it 5 stars for the overall experience and value.

Wow what a great restaurant. If you like seafood this is the place you definitely have to come for dinner. Great service, amazing location and very fresh food. I recommend it 100%. You will not be disappointed. Ralph the manager is very helpful.

I had a coffee only but it was an average, good staff and seating.

I gave it 4 stars because of the setting close to the fountain. You will not be able to find a better spot to have dinner and watch the musical fountain at the same time. However, if you have been to other branches of Sammach you can quickly realize that the taste of the food is different, spices different and the cooking style is also different. EX. Prawn a la provencal is much tastier at the Jumeariah branch. The fish is fried dry. Spicy potatoes has only the name, has nothing to do with spicy. The other appetizers and similar. I suggest to train the chef at the older shops to maintain the same flavor experience. And yes it is pricey!

Little on the expensive side. I didn’t had food here. However next time I shall. The coffee was good. Looking forward to come again.

Welcoming staff, great ambience, meal arrived on time and very tasty. Love the idea were you get to select your fish and it gets prepped up for you. It’s a good place to relax and enjoy the beautiful fountain.
