#latepost Wonderful high-tea by Shermaine at Fairmont The Palm Hotel . She was exceptionally responsive to our requests, very accommodating and was just so kind enough to click our pictures! Massive shoutout to the chef who prepared these delectable snacks. Scones were served hot with clotted cream and jam. The macarons, brioche sandwiches, pastries got me drooling - my favourites being the Traditional Yule Log, Christmas Bauble, Sleigh and Cherry Macaron. The peppermint herbal tisane was refreshing as it awaken our senses! I will make sure to look for Shermaine whenever I return

Nice view and beautiful refreshments. That day a waiter there was kinder, more helpful and more professional than the other two Waitress.

No, sorry my experiences were not as good as other peoples. Usually afternoon tea is supposed to be comfortable, elegant, relaxing. This one was not unfortunately... 1. They put four of us on a table that was fit for 2 people so we were constantly moving things around so we could squeeze the items on the table. 2. There was a hair in our clotted cream, the waitress took ages to change the clotted cream and by the time she got back the scones were very cold, we asked to have these changed and the waitress definitely showed us attitude like it was our fault. 3. Afterwards it took quite some time for the waitress to come to us for anything more and we were just dying to get the bill to leave. The manager came when the clotted cream incident happened, she was nice. I'm glad the hotel offered a buy one get one offer for the afternoon tea as the full price would definitely not be worth it. We won't be back.

Omali is the loveliest waitress there but the others need training ! The food was Tasty but the portions are little . the ac needs fixing! They also need to be flexible and give more scones and replace the pastries with scones . 2 scones is not enough for 2 people lol!

This would have been our 6th time there but lost count. This time with family and friends from UK which they all enjoyed the experience. Usual great selection, service and environment. I recommend, but don't crowd this place when we go again!!!

We had an amazing time today celebrating our friends baby shower. The arrangment, decorations, food/tea selection and the cake were amazing. Afternoon tea price is very attractive plus all ten of us received a voucher for 50% off on a 60 or 90 minute massage at Willow Stream which is my favorite Spa in Dubai. The Lounge staff were extremely attentive and took a great care of us. Too bad the weather was not good enough to sit outside and have a glass of bubbly. Thank you Mashrabiya Lounge Team for a lovely afternoon
