It's the first station for monorail going to palm Atlantis. It's really a great experience to travel in monorail. Moving in the middle of palm island. You will get a good view of palm island and also the sea. . For up and down it will cost you 60AED for 2 persons. It's not crowded at all and they are following strict covid 19 protocol.

What I love about this station is the entrance. The name fits the purpose. At the entrance or gate, you have this beautiful art piece, made with painted little stones displaying the entire the palm Jumeirah as well as the monorail train. This welcomes you into a mega development project carried out by this master developer in Dubai: Nakheel Aside the palm Jumeirah , Nakheel is also known for other projects like the nad al sheba villas, the and so many other malls

In august 2019 we Decoder to take the Dubai Monrail. We ended up at Gateway station. In the middle of nowhere, nearly no internet connection and desperately waiting for a Taxi. A waste of Money and Time. If you want to have a ride on the Dubai Monorail, Thema you can take gateway Station as your starting point for the Atlantis waterpark, but definetly not as your arrival point. At day time you have a nice overview of the neighbouring Dubai harbour. At night a waste of time.
Lifts bring you up to the platform, all goes well when you are with baby stroller. At the ticket counter you need to pay in AED by cash.
