Dubai Feline Park Group is created to promote the establishment of a park exclusively for stray cats in Dubai and other Emirates. The proposal is to allocate part of the Dubai Safari for such a purpose. This is a proposal to solve an existing problem. Dubai Municipality has an ongoing problem with stray cats and it seems that the only solution so far has been to put them down, or throw them out in the desert which is inhumane. Or, to find individuals to adopt them, which is not easy. Why not set up "Dubai Feline Park"​? An area next to or inside the new Desert Safari near International City can be converted into a fenced Park exclusively for the care and protection of stray cats. It would consist of a large green area with lots of trees, shrubs, green grass and a large fountain, a veterinary clinic, a quarantine section and an eating hall. This park can be designed such that it would maintain 5000 cats and be open to the public at certain times therefore providing an educational opportunity as well as entertainment for children with regards to domestic animals. Basically what we need is just a piece of land 200 meters by 300 meters in an undeveloped area. The development and maintenance of the park would be funded by charity donations.
