In the City Max hotel in Bur Dubai there is the Indian restaurant Clay Pot. The space is large and dimly lit. The food selection is very vary varied and flavorful. drinks recommendation would be the chili sangria. spicy and nice on the pallet, ajwani machhi tikka- fresh fish and nicely spiced coating, mutton galouti - Mince is very smooth. Kalmi kabab/Chicken lollipop- nice large portion, Dahi/Yogurt kabab- Very unique and flavorful, tandoori Momos- better than regular momos, prawn , Prawn kerala curry- Very flavourful paired best with white rice, Prawn Goa Curry- would be thinking that this would taste the same as the Kerala curry but its very different. Aslo best with white rice. , chicken biriyani, mushroom and pas curry- creamy and nice, rogan gosh- Spicy and nice Breads- Butter nan, garlic cheese nan, stuffed bean nan, the best dessert was the Kulfi and the rasmali.

We had been for the Iftar Buffet and surprisingly the vegetarian Buffet spreads was very nice. The sweet dishes were awesome. The ambience is very cool and the service is par excellence. We had a very good family time. Good place to visit.

Worst experience of my life very unprofessional ppl manager Mr shiv and management. We called on 11th November to reserve family table of 8 and the lady on the phone said that no need reservations we can directly come on Diwali day. When we reached there to our surprise Mr rude manager says they will not serve us as we don't have reservations. We were the first to call for reservation 4 days back and they had made last reservation a day before then why did they refused to give us reservation at first. They spoiled our Diwali we will never ever visit this place again also we will inform all our friends and entire Gujarati and sindhi group about our disaster experience.
