Hidden Gem! #chutneysrestaurant Located in @movenpickhotelburdubai .. As an Indian cuisine lover we would say Chutney's is the authentic Indian restaurant. We were very well looked after the entire evening. The ambience of the restaurant is very relaxed and friendly. We were welcomed by Marcel (Manager) and By Chef Rashid Qureshi (Head chef). Chef Rashid was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some great recommendations. .. When the food came, we were very very pleased with the quality of what was presented. The recommendations that were made matched what we were looking for. We started with Achari Paneer Tikka, & Mutter Aloo Tikki along with Masala Papad. All these items were cooked very well! .. Mains Dal Bukhara: The emphasis here was on the fragrance and the Dal was very well flavoured . The best part was that they cook this dal overnight! Malai Kofta: We loved the malai kofta as it was smooth texture with a saffron flavour and very aromatic. Baingan ka Bharta: something different and very tasty. It's a must try it had a nice smoky flavour in it. .. Dessert we choose Pistachio Kulfi and Gulab Jamun. Full marks to this one! as it was chef's recommendation! .. We have been to many indian restaurants in India and Dubai and we can guarantee you that restaurant is best, the food here was well flavoured and with the right amount of heat and quality and flavours. .. The service was great Marcel was very helpful explaining us about the ingredients and suggesting the options. .. we loved their food and their service. Prices here on the menu are very reasonable and if you are an Indian food lover then we 100% recommend this restaurant.

Visited this awesome place at Movenpic Bur Dubai that serves amazing variety of Indian Food. Met with Chef Qureshi & Marcel – they both are such amazing people, best in their work, service & food preparation. Along with the perfect ghazal & Bollywood music, we enjoyed the warm & cozy atmosphere of the restaurant and the lip smacking food served to us. We ate: Papdi Chaat – amazing flavors & tasty. A must try here Paneer Tikka – a unique combination of regular spices made to perfection. We loved the light flavors & enjoyed eating this dish Malai Kofta – this dish made our day! Soft Koftas in buttery & creamy gravy was amazing. Tasted like real saffron & amazing. Dal Makhani – STAR of the evening. Prepared with love for more than 24 hours, it has perfect combination of masalas & spices. Biryani – a little spicy for us since we ate green chilly by mistake, but such amazing aroma, taste & loved eating every grain of rice. What made the evening perfect was the Raw Papaya Pickle served with the food. It was seriously amazing. We ended the evening on a perfect note with garam gajar ka halwa & kulfi falooda that were perfect. All in all, really a must visit place and recommended to go with friends & family. You will really love it.
A lovely place to enjoy an Indian meal. Staff are friendly and their service is quite good. They have a good collection of classic cocktails. Food menu is modest, their chats especially the alu tikki and tandoori chicken is nice. A must try is the Chefs signature dish - mutton kurma, it is just amazing. This year’s Christmas decorations are just right- giving a simple homely feeling.

Amazing place to enjoy a good Indian meal. The staff is very efficient and friendly. The food is literally finger licking good, try the Tava Chicken - amazing gravy and it goes well with the mint Paratha. The ambience is well lit as it offers a great view of the hotel lobby or you can be seated close to singers who I play songs occassionally and enjoy the background score while you eat. Finally, you just can't leave the place without relishing the ice cream? Make note when in Movenpick - Eat Ice-cream. In AED 15 you can choose one yummy scoop of vanilla, chocolate, pistachios, mango or strawberry flavoured ice-cream. All in all a great experience. Must visit.

Hosted a lunch for some friends at Chutneys today. We chose this place because we have dined here many times in the past and hence trust the quality of food. Started off with Hara Dana Kebab, Paneer Ajwain Tikka (veg) and Murg Angaar Kebab (non veg). Special mention to Hara Dana Kebab, very well done and tasty. Had thali for main course and the presentation of the same on a Silver thali really made us feel like royalty. Tawa Murg, Gosht Korma Awadhi and Dal Tadka for non veg thali & Subz Panchmel, Paneer Butter Masala and Dal Tadka for veg thali, accompanied by Subz Biryani, Raita and Indian bread made it a perfect afternoon meal for us. Warm and soft Gulab Jamun in syrup for dessert completely floored all 12 of us. Good job, Team Chutney's, you will surely see us around more often at your restaurant!
