Car rental process- positive 5 stars. Rental deposit process - negative 500 stars. 6 months of chasing and emailing and shouting over phone calls. If it wasn’t because of a complaint logged with with Dubai Consumer, I would never see my deposit back in my bank.

Worst customer service - Not returning Deposit I have rented a car from carlease in the first week of July 2020. Once I get the car, I found that car is defective and make terrible noise once called back their operation manager claimed initially that this car is super perfect, but as it 2017 probably age factor, later he acknowledges car had technical issues with the bearing system close to tires, irrespective they haven't replaced car. I had continued with two weeks of my suffering and pain, and their customer service was nothing but terrible they never share the manger's names to talk only to keep sending an email that they will address the matter. Front desk reception with minimal knowledge of the car's conditions and will stop answering calls after rent. Once I return the car after two weeks, they advised that I wait for 22 working days to have my security refund back, which I accepted as mentioned on the contract. However, the sad truth is that the company todate haven't returned the security deposit despite many follow up and email and phone calls. The customer service is terrible, and they have no respect for customers.

Worst company ever, I have been waiting for my deposit since July and still have not received it. They don’t respond to your calls or emails. They were so nice and friendly when I rented the car but to get my money back it’s a nightmare, it’s like I am begging them to give me my rights. Although they promised me that I would get my money back after I raised my concern about the reviews and they lied. I would not recommend for anyone to rent from these people as they will never give you your money back. It’s been 7 months and I’m waiting. 6Update: 15 Jan- 6months later and after I got consumer affairs involved, I finally got my money back. I would definitely not recommend this company

Hope my honest review will help you… Please be aware before you rent a car from this car leasing company. I had rented a car in February 2020 and returned it on March 1st with perfect condition. They did not reimburse my deposit until Sept 2020 (and I’m still following up). Despite continuous follow-ups, they always give lame excuses. Only God knows when they will return your deposit…

I rented a car for 10 months on a teacher deal from their branch in Al Quoz (Dubai) and persevered with a whole host of problems. Firstly, I was stung for accidental damage which I thought would have been covered in the rental costs. My courtesy car was a battered and bruised Chevrolet which in my opinion was not road worthy (one of the rear windows wouldn't stay closed...) and trying to change this car was something of a mission (refusal to respond to emails, phone calls etc was only the beginning...). I returned my car on July 13th and to this day (22nd August) I am still waiting for the deposit to be returned. They continue to feed me excuses and say it's still under process and continually send clearly fake emails to the so-called \Deposit Tracker Team\ to give you false sense of hope. I have filed a complaint to the DED which should hopefully sort out this hopeless and lacklustre company. Take your money elsewhere and avoid this company at all costs.

I concur with many of the negative comments about Carlease. I had nothing but issues with customer Service since taking out a long term lease - thankfully the agreement is finished and I've handed the car back. This was over 2 Months ago and to date they still haven't refunded my deposit. I notice that many reviews reflect that they have not paid deposits back to honest people who hired Carlease vehicles in good faith. This is not a hire company I would recommend and will certainly not use it again. Update - still no deposit payment, like many. This is the worst hire car company I have ever come across. Do not be fooled by that false rating.

Worst Car Rental Service Ever!!! (Not Returning the Deposit yet!) I Had rented a car for over 6 months since the beginning of this year and they always take the money from your credit card way ahead of time. like even 60 days ahead of your billing cycle will start. (I have proofs emails) also i had to file a case through the Bank to get the money back from Carlease. Every month the issue kept recurring so I cancelled my Credit Card, just because of Car Lease. Very Bad Customer Service, worst treatment, they also don't hesitate to yell at you when you ask for explanation for excess or wrong billing. and if there is a traffic violation penalty from RTA and Police, they charge you almost double the amount, they don't let you pay the penalty directly. but in my case i did not agree for that and after multiple argument, i paid the penalties directly to RTA / Police and did not pay them any extra. and the best part is that i have already returned the Car in an excellent condition. they confirmed that they have my deposit that they will refund me. but even after multiple reminder emails and calls, they just don't care. i am attaching a picture of email that i have sent them.

Never ever take car from these guys... they will talk all sweet at beginning and they won't even pick up call later... my deposit return took more than 1 month after returning car... absolutely bad service.. I am never going to them again !
