Burj Toastmasters Club was formed in June 2004 and since then has grown to become one of the leading clubs in the region. With a strong membership strength and mentor-mentee bond, our club has churned out champion speakers and transformed members into competent communicators. Burj Toastmasters is a non-profit club of like minded people who get together twice a month to improve their public speaking and leadership skills. How Does It Work? A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants improve their communication skills in a safe environment. There is no instructor in a Toastmasters meeting. Instead, members evaluate each other's presentations. This feedback process is a key part of the program’s success. Meeting participants also give impromptu talks on assigned topics, which helps them to think quickly on their feet.
