The echo and the afternoon sun are a bit of a challenge. The library itself is really nice and the staff are so helpful. The little green nooks around the library are a nice addition too.

I went to the Art& Design library with a friend the other day. We wanted to discover it and see what it was like. It’s honestly a beautiful and calm place to be. So quiet and well planed. My self and my friend are both designers and come from an art background and it felt much needed to be able to find a place like that. There are art galleries on display, an auditorium and many facilities more. It’s a shame that it’s not opened on weekends where one can escape and go study or catch up on some readings. They have an amazing section dedicated to kids with a movie section and dedicated help to look out for the kids. Can’t wait to make my way over there again.

very nice and inspiring design quite place to study and reading although not a lot of seats but the place is not crowded so you will find a seat for yourself

When i paid for registration i have asked if Saturday is a visiting day and the answer was yes, so i booked based on this as I am an employee and can't come except Saturdays!! i just reached the library along the way from sharjah to find it closed!!

Al Safa Art & Design Library is a nice, Modern, Library that is suitable for people who are interested in design and people who would just like to get some work done. The thing that distinguishes this library more than other libraries in the city is it’s modern and cool design.
