SKMC EP department saved my life. I went into cardiac arrest due to an undiagnosed premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) condition. I was fortunate that an AED was nearby and a shock was administered. The ambulance brought me to SKMC. My Doctor was Moutaz Al Qaderi. Along with the SKMC supporting staff they diagnosed my condition and recommended an ICD implant. The implant was done, and it saved my life 5 weeks later when I had another episode. After that Dr Moutaz discussed with me the ablation procedure option, as medication did not bring my condition fully under control. I opted for the procedure and it was performed successfully by Dr Moutaz. The problematic PVCs have completely since disappeared and I made a full recovery. All throughout, Dr Moutaz and the SKMC staff were wonderful and attentive. He took my calls and answered all my text messages whenever I had questions. I highly recommend SKMC EP. I was very very fortunate that the ambulance took me there.

After suffering from skipping heart beats, Afib, fluttering, palpitations.. you call it! Went to over 8 doctors here in Abu Dhabi not even a single one knew what was going on, later one of our family doctor suggested me Dr. Moutaz at SKMC EP Department khalifa hospital, such a humble person, i believe that man got some super powers .. i do believe super heroes exists now day! After 8 years of PVCs and a lot of horrible days of suffering, i kinda gave up.. he suggested me to do ablation and i didn't hesitate to start with this procedure.. we started the ablation, he is very professional at doing it! How scared i was but when i saw how relaxed Dr. Moataz was i felt so safe and calm all procedure till the end, my heart skipping was so complicated to detect he managed to really take his time capturing it and elemenat that wrong electricity.. i can't tell u the feeling of having my heart back to normal.. i was tearing like a baby! Overall from Dr. Moutaz to all his staff .. every single one of them did there job at there highest level of professionalism, i honestly felt at home during the 4 days i spend there, 100% recommended! For anyone suffering from heart electricity.
