This small restaurant serves Bengali food. Not a large restaurant. It has around 30 seats. But easy to find seats during off peak times. The giant prawn is a speciality there. Probably it is closer to langoustines or giant scampi. One prawn is the size of an adult male hand. Call ahead to enquire if it is still available for the day. Very fresh and delicious with the curry stew it comes in. The other seafood dishes are delicious too but go in a large group for sharing. Service is friendly and food is served fast.

Really delicious and good quality Bengali food. We ordered biriyani, fish curries, sweets and each every dishes were just awesome. Home delivery and overall service was also very good

Being a bong foodie I am constantly searching for Authentic Bengali cuisine in Abu Dhabi and found this Restaurant in Al Markaziya Area. They have pretty decent menu to offer in lunch and dinner beside some mouth watering snack in the evening. Good thing about Sand Marine they have special menu every day from Biryani to Fish and special mutton preparations. I had Rohu fish platter this time and loved the taste of the curry. Fish could be better in terms of quality and size rest is fine. Service is fast and additional Alo bharta, one mix veg and a daal was good. Pocket pinch is competitive, will try other stuff in my next visit.
