It is a wonder and beauty. It is the largest in the country. I loved the architectural designs, the chandeliers, the rugs, how cool it is and the quietness

It is huge and beautiful mosque located in abu dhabi....so clean and peaceful place to meet god. Wearing abhaya is very mandatory here for ladies, without that you can not enter in there, or else if ladies are wearing full clothes is also okay, just clothes restrictions they have otherwise the place is perfect tourist attraction, its located in huge area of abu dhabi.

Before heading to Mosque , heard lot of praises about it. But what is best is to be at the place and see it. Registration is simple and smooth. Security is high and walking distance is bit more to reach the main entrance of the mosque(no worries for old citizen, battery car is running for them). One have to go in their traditional dress(specially for women, they need to cover them properly). Women's will get the dresses their only for free for the visit to the Mosque. Mosque has its own beauty and must visit place in Abu Dhabi.

I had the pleasure to visit the mosque with a couple of nice colleagues. The mosque itself is more than impressive! The size, the quality of the design and construction. It is huge and impressive in every way. The details put in the walls, ceilings. The paintings and mosaic. It is a building well worth of its purpose. Only thing I don't understand is the inclusion of a mall with different fast food restaurants like MC Donald's, Starbucks etc at the entrance. They should not be at a holy place like this most impressive mosque. During the visit we did the complementary tour. This tour was performed by RIEEM (that's the way her name is written, she explained three times). Also, an island is named after her. Must be very beautiful. The tour was great. RIEEM knew a lot about the mosque, telling about the 82(?) domes, the hundreds of pillars, the lights, the ceiling etc etc.... She knew a lot. However, when she talked about the three different ways of Arabic writing (where she said one was the easiest), my colleague asked what was written at a dome. She did not know the answer.... Which was kind of funny. Also she had a nice humour. When we did not ask her anything upon her request, she made questions for us. Also, she always repeated questions from the group by saying 'thank you for your question, your question is blablablabla'. Hilarious! RIEEM, you were the icing on the cake! And the mosque, well worth the visit!

I would highly recommend a visit here as it’s the most beautiful mosque in the world. I appreciate the beauty and designs of this place. You will need to be covered however, after you go through security, they can lend you an traditional robe (abaya). Then you get on the buggy that takes you to the entrance of the mosque and follow the crowd as you need to take off your shoes. It’s truly a breathtaking place and is a place to visit if you are in Abu Dhabi or in Dubai.
