The business school has eight international centres around the globe, including in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, all of which offer the Strathclyde International Executive MBA. Strathclyde opened its first centre in the UAE in 1995, and to date has graduated more than 1,200 MBA students. The school is one of only 88 in the world (2018) to be triple internationally accredited (AMBA, EQUIS & AACSB) and in the UAE is also accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research (CAA). The Strathclyde MBA is consistently ranked as among the world’s best, most recently ranking 41st in the Financial Times Executive MBA Ranking 2016. Strathclyde Business School was named UK Business School of the Year in the most recent Times Higher Education Awards (2016), and was singled out for our outstanding overall performance and innovative and entrepreneurial outlook. The Strathclyde Executive MBA is a two-year, part-time, taught programme designed for working professionals who need to combine career and family commitments with the demands of MBA studies. The programme has two intakes per year, one in April and one in October. The business school hosts regular public events in Abu Dhabi and Dubai for Strathclyde MBA students, alumni and the wider business community. These include The Strathclyde Dialogues, UAE Research Evenings at Strathclyde, Strathclyde Evening Talks and Strathclyde Masterclasses.
