Oldest Sailing Club of Abu Dhabi. ADSC is also a recognised RYA sailing center (Sailing Powerboating Academy). It has a fleet of lasers, bytes, kestrels, RS feva and high performance RS400. There is also a Topper Cruz, laser 2000 and a Hobie Cat 16 for fun sails. The boats are syndicated to members (no need to own your boat to sail), but one needs to be a member of The Club. ADSC organises regattas every Friday throughout the year and social sail on Saturday and during the week. ADSC also has an Academy teaching members and their guests the full RYA courses (sailing and powerboating). The academy runs courses on weekend and week days and delivers the RYA certificates. Founded in 1960, Abu Dhabi Sailing Club is the oldest sailing club in the UAE and the only recognised sailing club in Abu Dhabi. We have a strong turn out for our club racing every Friday, and we are also part of a lager recreation and sports club called The Club, which offers its Members a host of top class facilities including 13 bars and restaurants, 4 tennis courts, 2 squash courts, 1 badminton court, 3 snooker tables, 2 beaches, and 2 swimming pools. At ADSC, we also offer an innovative syndication system for our club fleet, meaning that members can be out on the water just days after joining the sailing club in one of our Lasers, Laser 4000’s, RS 400’s or Kestrel’s. This is all included in the cost of membership, meaning there is no need to buy a boat to get out on the water. As part of the sailing club we have a RYA recognised sailing academy, offering a wide range of courses to help you get out on the water.
